Market research: press packs
I went to W.H smith to do my research on the press packs in the market.In class I have learnt that publishing companies fight for places in the shelves, what they fight for is the middle shelf because that is the first shelf readers and buyers see they know that readers would not look at the highest or the lowest shelf meaning if their magazine was to be in either the top or the bottom shelf there is a slim chance that their magazine will be read or even looked at.
doing my research I have learnt the most popular magazines in terms of most read and well known are in the middle shelf and consequently the magazines with poor readers rate were either at the top or the bottom. Another think I have realised is that all of the magazines overlap this is because
